VW Group announce changes in Seat brand

On 4th September 2023, VW Group, which owns brands including VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Cupra, announced that they will be phasing out the Seat brand in future years, to allow for the Cupra brand to take it’s place. Cupra is known to be the premium version of Seat, often focusing on a sportier and raised elegance look and feel to the cars.

It has been mentioned that the popular models which are currently sold under the Seat brand will be re-branded into the Cupra family, which we can expect a higher level of specification and improved look.
